Why are some standing seam metal roofs very wavy and some are not?
I’ve watched several metal roofs installed in my neighborhood. It seams most of the waviness is caused by folding the seams with a hand tool when panels are joined on the roof, especially at the angled peak and valley joints. Is there another tool that travels down the joint and gradually folds the seams over the length of the tool?
